ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Southern California native, Julie Franco got her start in the swim industry at an early age as a children's fit model in swimwear. She quickly developed a passion for swimsuits and set her sights on an education in fashion design. As the only student in her class to focus her studies and portfolio on swimwear, she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Otis College of Art & Design.

With over twenty years' experience, Julie has become an expert in her field. She specializes in bra-sized separates with an impeccable fit. Her signature use of color includes sophisticated palettes made up of bright saturated hues, classic primary shades, and intense jewel tones. Her prints and design direction are often inspired by world travel and exotic destinations. Julie is always inspired to create a suit that is stylish and modern but most importantly, a suit that will fit and flatter the figure.
